Cookie Policy

Last updated · 8 October 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar storage used on flowfuel.uk. In short: the site sets no cookies by default. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Pressing Reject, or ignoring the banner, means none are set.

01 What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device. Some websites also use similar browser storage. We only use them where described below.

02 What we use

NameSet byPurposeLastsNeeds consent?
_ga Google Analytics, on flowfuel.uk Tells visitors apart so we can count how many people use the site. Up to 12 months Yes. Only set after you press Accept.
_ga_3W24EYEX1E Google Analytics, on flowfuel.uk Keeps track of your visit (a session) so pages viewed can be counted. Up to 12 months Yes. Only set after you press Accept.
ff_cookie_consent This site (browser local storage, not a cookie) Remembers whether you pressed Accept or Reject so we do not ask on every visit. 12 months No. It is needed to respect your choice.

We do not use advertising cookies. We have turned off Google's advertising features (Google signals and ad personalisation) in our Analytics settings.

03 Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a service from Google that tells us how many people visit the site, which pages they view and roughly where they are (for example, the region). We use it to understand and improve the site. We do not use it to identify you, and it does not receive your name or the email address you give us.

Google acts as our data processor and handles this information on our instructions. It may process it on servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. See our Privacy Policy for more.

We have also switched on two optional Google data-sharing settings. One lets Google use aggregated, de-identified measurement data to produce business insights, and the other gives Google access to information about how we use our Analytics account. Google decides how it uses that information, under its own terms. Google Analytics does not receive your name or email address, so neither is shared.

04 Your choice

The first time you visit, the banner asks you to Accept or Reject. Both buttons do the same amount of work and the site works the same either way.

  • To change your mind: press here or in the footer of any page and choose again. Choosing Reject deletes the analytics cookies.
  • In your browser: you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
  • Google's opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Analytics collecting data on any site.
